In the picture above we can see the new Ruffneck PC launched by GE Fanuc’s Computer Dynamics subsidiary. This here personal computer is ready for abuse. It shows a nice 15 inch touchscreen LCD that is to be used with gloves. The processor is a Pentium M at 1.6 GHz, we have 2GB of RAM memory and a good enough 40GB hard disk. What is interesting with this PC is that it is wrapped in thermally-managed enclosure. This allows it to operate in low temperatures of -40 and high temperatures up to 140 Fahrenheit. We do not know how much it will cost but if you live in an environment that needs the specifications above, you should purchase it no matter what.
