Canon EOS 450D Review
The Canon EOS 450D is the fourth entry-level model from the company and was launched immediately after Canon had a huge success with the EOS 300D, a model responsible for price breakthrough. This is a long time back but the fact is a lot of people are currently using the D-SLR model, one that is highly popular with photographers from around the world. Canon did have a huge success with the EOS 300D, changing the amateur photographer market forever.
The newest Canon D-SLR is labeled with the name Canon EOS 450D and will appear alongside the 400D model. These two digital cameras look alike and we need to know that the 450D is basically a 400D model but with some extra twists. The Canon EOS 450D works with EF-S lenses and they were especially developed for the APS-C format noticed in the image sensor. Thus the result is a more compact and cheaper lens. The 450D also comes with a 3 inch screen that is on the back, allowing live view. The monitor we noticed in the 400D model was only able to view pictures taken while the Canon EOS 450D allows the photographer to use the monitor for shooting pictures. Live View is something that has been announced on all new Canon digital camera models announced so it should not be a surprise.
One interesting fact that will make possible photographers consider the camera even more is the resolution. The Canon EOS 450D comes with 12 Megapixels, a good step towards keeping up with the resolution showed by competitors. Another nice feature is the EOS Integral Cleaning System that makes it basically impossible for dust to stick to the sensor and even if there is dust present the Canon software that comes with the 450D will retouch it.
