Zune vs iPod - Which is Better?
There is a huge debate going on linked to media players and people are either supporting the classic iPod or the new and improved Zune 2. Which one is better? Let us take a look at some facts and maybe you will decide for yourself. We have the iPod Classic at 80GB and the new Zune 2 at 80 GB so when talking about storage there is not much to differentiate the two. Until know it was the iPod that was better when it comes to space and song numbers held so now we need to take a closer look. First off, let us take a look at the iPod’s classic 2.5 inch screen and the super simple to use scroll wheel. It is well known but what about Zune’s 3.2 inch LCD screen with a 320X240 pixels resolution? On the other hand the touchpad is quite strange at first but still looks pretty elegant. When it comes to content we need to put in iTunes. It is the best one yet but it can not rip DVDs. Zune comes with a new marketplace and now features a very growing library of video and audio content. We have 3 million songs now and we can say that there is a very good growth rate visible at an affordable pay plan. The last thing we need to talk about is price as it is something that has to be considered in every little cool geeky gadget out there. The iPod is $249 and the Zune is $299. It is quite similar. So which one is better? To keep it fair, the iPod is still king but Zune is catching up fast so a lot of people are going to purchase the Zune this holiday season for sure.

The new iPod Touch seems to support all the features the iPhone does. There is still no Weather, Mail, Stocks or Google Maps on the device but it seems they are coming. Sources inside Apple said that the iPod Touch and the iPhone “use the same damn binaries.” It looks like the company decided not to include the above mentioned features in Touch. The reason behind the move might be that then the two devices will be too similar. If there is a difference between the two it stands in the fact that the iPhone is more communication oriented and the iPod Touch is more entertainment-oriented. Both gadgets use the same operating system and frameworks but there are differences in user interface elements.
