The Cinedisk CD26HD

CineDiskThis is interesting! Korean firm Savit Micro is now letting you carry an entire High Definition video source in the palm of your hand. The Cinedisk CD26HD is now on the market and is capable of up to 1080i resolution with being just a little larger than a normal hand held media player. We have a big 120 GB 2.5 inch hard drive that can playback different formats including MPEG 2, DiVX, WMV9HD, MP3, OGG and WMA. At the moment there is no presence of HDMI so this will not be for you if you consider this feature a must have. On the other hand, the present outputs (for coax digital audio and component video) should be enough for the average user.

The bad side to it all is that you will have problems in finding one of these babies outside Korea. If you can also pay for overseas shipping you will be able to purchase the Cinedisk CD26HD for around $230.

Video Recording Sunglasses

Sunglasses Camera

This is what happens when you are able to combine modern technology with fashion. This pair of sunglasses takes full advantage of the current trade in over-sized sunglasses to properly hide the recording capabilities it has. You also have a small video recorder that fits in your pockets in order to capture the footage filmed by the sunglasses and store it on SC cards. You can even view it on the device, making the fun never ending.

The camera can record in PAL and NTSC but does not really have high definition written all over it. It does provide a better quality than most web videos out there but it is still not that much. As you could imagine the Spycatcher website claims these sunglasses are perfect for investigative journalists, private investigators and so on but we all know who is really going to purchase these devices. You can purchase a pair from Spycatcher for around $1,400

First Look at Philips PVD1075

Philips PVD

The Philips PVD1075 seems to be a very good device in the market of portable DVB-T. It is mainly available in Asia and Europe but can be used in any area that offers DVB broadcasts. This Philips product comes with a very nice sleek design, a skinny package and can undergo a lot of media playing. The first look at the PVD1075 did not offer much and the device does not really seem to be one that will blow people away. The screen is not that special but on the whole the product can be used in home surroundings to a maximum effect.
