So far I cannot tell any quality difference between this and the WAY over-priced brands. If it works? Don’t fix it. Price can’t be beat.
This cheap cable will do all the tasks just like the expensive ones. I’ve connected it to my PC and I see superior 1920 x 1080 resolution. Pictures are crystal clear.
Inexpensive and picture looks great on Samsung DLP with DVI (no HDMI) Connected to PS3. Audio routed through RCA stereo plugs.
I got this to connect my MacBook Pro to an HDTV, to no avail. When I connected it, the screen would flash blue once then refuse to detect the external display. I took the setup in to an Apple Store, where switching computers had the same effect. We then switched to their $26 Belkin DVI to HDMI cable and had everything work perfectly.
Yeah, it’s only a few dollars on Amazon with shipping, but it’s not worth even that for Mac users – this seems to be a frequent problem.
